Leisure Centres & Gyms
Boston can now boast a world first in sports facilities. The new £7 million, Princess Royal Sports Arena, is the first sports arena in the world where all the facilities have been designed and built for use by disabled and able bodied alike. The Peter Pain Sports Centre offer activities such as squash and badminton. The Geoff Moulder Leisure Complex includes a superb swimming pool, a toddler pool and a £45m flume slide. Dry side facilities comprise the new Creations fitness suite, sauna, solarium and Jacuzzi. Most sports can be enjoyed in the multi-purpose facilities at Castle Leisure Complex, containing swimming pools, sports hall, indoor bowling green, fitness suite and a health suite. Spalding and Boston both boast a selection of gyms open to the public for day membership, and there is also a Health Centre and Gym in Holbeach which is open to the public. The Hudson Leisure Centre at Wisbech has a pool, large sports hall and 2 gyms. March and Whittlesey both also offer pool and gyms. |
