For those looking for retail therapy with a difference then the Fens are for you. As well as many of the familiar High Street names there are a host of family-run and independent shops nestling in and around the attractive medieval shopping lanes in Boston, and a vibrant town centre, free from traffic during the day in Spalding, where shops and markets are conveniently located, within easy walking distance of the car parks. Special events take place during the year including Continental Markets, and Gardeners’ Markets, Farmers’ Markets, when you can buy Fens produced flowers, plants, vegetables and organic fayre.

Wisbech has a selection of long established family business from pork butchers to clothes and shoe shops as well as traditional markets.

The towns of Holbeach, March, Long Sutton, Crowland, Whittlesey and Chatteris all have a good range of shops as well as weekly markets.

Retail outlets include the Springfields Outlet Shopping Centre and Festival Gardens at Spalding and the £20 million Pescod Square shopping centre in Boston.
